About Us

¡El regalo del lenguaje, es un regalo para toda la vida!

The gift of language is a gift of a lifetime!

About Our Preschool Program

While exposing children to a foreign language is the cornerstone of what we do, our preschool program is a multi-discipline approach to nurturing healthy, happy and independent children.

We feel that children learn best through hands-on experiences with people, materials, events and ideas. This approach is ideal when learning a second language. Children learn Spanish through - doing, exploring and participating!

Our Curriculum

Play, Play, Play! Did we mention play? In early childhood, children learn so much through independent play and directed play.  Their little brains are rapidly gathering information about their world and creating mental links and building blocks about how things work and social relationship building. Independent play helps children to learn how to learn. While play is a very important component to our curriculum, we also focus on the various subjects below to ensure our students learn Spanish through multiple mediums.

Literacy

Reading and the love of books is important to our program. We have daily circle time where we select a book in Spanish to read to the class. We also have designated reading spots with bookcases full of Spanish books. Children can explore far off kingdoms, magical places, meet amazing people and learn about their world - all in Spanish!

Math & Science

We encourage even our youngest students to begin to love numbers and learn how math relates to their world. We practice math exercises often - in Spanish of course. Additionally, we utilize fun science experiments to teach kids about the world of science. Children in our program learn about density by experimenting with Skittles candies, explore erosion with sand and water, and recreate how sedimentary rock is formed. While we don’t expect our youngest students to learn big and technical Spanish words at their age, we do find that they thoroughly enjoy them!

Art

Kids love art. Children will learn fundamental art concepts while learning to appreciate a diversity of art forms, art interpretation, and how art can make the world a better place. And the kids have a perfect excuse to get their hands dirty…which is especially fun when the parents don’t have to clean up the mess!

Music

We love music! Studies show music can improve math, listening, and concentration skills. We practice learning traditional Spanish songs weekly.
